Support for wide variety of structured and unstructured data, like XML, EDI, IDOC, JSON, Flat Files, CSV, PDF, Database Tables, Stored Procedure Calls etc. Use of Virtual Data Objects (normalized resource) for mapping different data structures, supporting 1 to n transformation approach. Support for auto-mapping, data enrichment, lookups & cross referencing.

Visual Data Mapping

Data Mapping is used as a first step for a wide variety of data integration tasks and is one of the critical components of an integration task. DX Mapper provides a rich and powerful, yet user friendly drag and drop, intuitive interface in linking the data from one object to another. Use the design panel to graphically connect source and target objects, add functions and filters for data manipulation.

Complex Data Manipulation

DX Mapper provides an extensive list of data manipulation functions, with an ability to import functions/methods from custom libraries/jars. Users can create multi-step reusable composite functions required to support complex integration tasks. Some of the functions include, String manipulation functions, mathematical functions, datetime formatting, decode/encode, list functions and user defined functions.

Interactive Debugger

DX Mapper provides interactive debugging options during the design time activity to help speed up the data transformation process. Debugger allows the user to debug through the flow step by step, and see how the data maps from one step to another. Step In, Step Out, Trace functions are provided as part of the debugger, along with breakpoints.

Structured & Unstructured Data Mapping

DXchange Integration Cloud supports data parsing and mapping for structured formats like Relational Databases, XML, JSON, EDI, IDOC, Flat files (fixed length and delimited), CSV etc. Structure has to be defined, which includes header and payload data elements, classified as fixed length or delimited. System will represent the structural data in a hierarchical tree structure, making it easier for the user to map from/to source/target formats. DXchange provides support for unstructured formats as well (PDF, IoT streams, Emails, Social media, Website etc).

EDI Data Mapping

DXchange Integration Cloud natively supports EDI (UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12, HIPAA X12 and HL7) parsing with the ability to transform from/to EDI format. Users have to select the appropriate EDI specification within the DX Mapper, and the EDI schema is represented as a hierarchical data structure from which users can start mapping to the source/target structures. Users can customize EDI standard schemas as per their requirements, along with applying custom code list values.
